About Ashley

Rooted in connection, guided by presence, and inspired by real life.

I’m Ashley, a Spokane-born creative with strong PNW roots and a love for quiet, soulful spaces — old buildings, cozy cafes, and places that feel lived in. Life has recently led me to Upstate South Carolina, where I’m embracing a new chapter both personally and creatively.

Before anything else, I’m a mother. A fourth-time mama, and currently on a very special journey as a first-time surrogate (baby due June 2026). Motherhood, in all its forms, has deeply shaped how I see people, connection, and the quiet in-between moments that matter most.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me fully in mom mode — keeping the little humans thriving, managing the rhythm of daily life, and finding moments to slow down when I can. I spent eight years in early childhood education and have always been drawn to psychology.

Patience, intuition, and emotional awareness guide the way I work with families, mothers, and children. At the heart of it all, I’m simply drawn to documenting connection, presence, and the quiet beauty of real life as it unfolds.

Vintage charm in modern day

A variety of homemade pies and desserts on a table at a gathering. Visible are a cherry-topped pie, a lattice crust apple pie, a layer cake with white frosting and pink decorations, and other assorted sweets. People are seen in the background serving themselves.

Let’s capture your story

My photography explores the quiet depth of everyday life centered on connection.

My approach to photography is rooted in a documentary style, centered on meeting you exactly where you are in this season of life. Rather than forcing moments or chasing perfection, I observe, gently guide, and allow what is real to unfold naturally. Whether you are in a season of growing your family, navigating motherhood, celebrating love, or simply existing in the everyday, my work is meant to reflect life as it is lived — honest, unhurried, and deeply present.
